Autobiography September 5th 1999, i can remember it as if it was yesterday. I got woken up by mum saying 'Wakey wakey, rise and shine! you dont want to be late for your first day at your new school''. I got out of bed and hanging up on the wardrobe was my new uniform, there it was glistening in the morning sunshine. I flew down the stairs at the speed of light so i would'nt be late for my first day in year 7. I sat down to have my breakfast and the egg's was as black as coal and the bacon was as hard as iron, but i still ate it. All i thought about threw breakfast was what the school was going to be like. I had a wash and put my brand new uniform on, it was the perfect fit. As i stood there looking in the mirror all i was thinking to myself was; the big day is finally here. I was excited and very nervous. The door bell chimed, like big ben on new years eve. At the door was my two friends from my old school Stephanie and Shane. I put on my brand new blue addidas coat and put on my school bag which weighed a tone, it felt like i was carrying a dosen bricks. I said bye to my mum and off i went, the big day finally begun. The sky turned as gray as my grandads hair and the cold wind blew in our face's. The trees was swayin left to right, they looked like they was waving to us. As we walked up the road we seen many kids our age dressend in the same uniform as us. All we spoken about on the way was that we all were hopening to be in the same forms as each other. We finally arrived at the school gates. The school looked like a prison becasue it was all behind bars. We entered threw the gates and we began to walk up the path way, which looked like it was endless. We was surrouned with many people we had never seen in our life before, we tried to look for people we knew but it was imposible. We finally arrived at the school, it looked mixed between a castle and a prision. We waited in an empty corridor because it began to rain. Suddenly a bell rang and the corridor began to fill full of students, they looked like giants they didn't look happy at all. A dark figure loomed over us and there was a strong smell of coffee and cigarette's, it was a teacher. He stood there with his hands on his hips and he said ''that we needed to go to the activity hall to be put with our form groups'' We arrived at the actvity hall, at this time i was even more nervous. The hall was huge there was bright yellow bricks, all wood around the top of the walls, ropes hanging on the celling, basketball nets on the walls, and the bright green dusty floor had a giant basketaball cought printed on it. The hall was full of kids my age and i could see a few of my friends from my old school. The teachers all stood at the front of the room, they looked like it would hurt to smile. The teachers called our names out one by one and we was put into form groups. It was around 9.30am and we followed our new teacher Mr Page. He was a nice teacher he took us on a tour of the school, there were so many rooms it was just like a maze then he took us to our first form room at Montagu School. The chairs was set out in a circle and we had to sit next to someone that we did not know, Karl was the only one in my form that i knew. The teacher made us do a exercise’ to ‘get to know one another. The time flew by and soon as we knew it the bell for lunch already had gone. We went to the canteen and there was a que a mile long, but in no time at all we was served. We had our lunch, i had burger and chips which was nice compeared to the school dinners they show on the tv. We meet up with our friends on the playground and we started getting to know people. We made friends with a kid with ginger hair and we started talking about how diffrent the school was to what we thought. The afternoon went as fast as lightning, we had to fill out a blue homework diary and write our lessons in it ready for the next day. The bell went for home time. I enjoyed my first day at Montagu School alot.
